How do I apply for a position at BankAtlantic?

Applying for a position is easy; just follow the instructions included in our “Start The Career Application Process" selection located in the Career Section.


How often does BankAtlantic update its job postings?

Online job listings are updated daily.


Do I need a User ID and Password?

Yes! Our application process walks you through the online application steps. If you forget your password, we will e-mail that information to you upon request. Please maintain your user ID and password in a secure place.


What if I don’t have an e-mail address?

That’s not a problem! There are several internet services offering free e-mail services. Additionally, you can create a user name in lieu of an e-mail address.


How long will my application be kept active?

Your application will be kept “active” in a database that all recruiters have access to, for a minimum period of one (1) year from the date you submitted it.


Can I update my application?

Yes! Updating your application is easy. Log on to our website at any time, make your changes and hit save. It’s that easy! But don’t forget, if you’ve already applied for (three) 3 positions, you have to wait until the (three) 3-month period has expired to apply for more.


When can I expect to hear from BankAtlantic?

If there is an interest in your application, you can expect to hear from us within 30 days. While candidates selected for interviews will be notified of their status, we regret we cannot contact all applicants regarding their status.


Will I be considered for positions other than the one for which I submitted my application?

Certainly! As mentioned before, we retain all applications in a central database which is accessible by our entire recruitment staff for up to one year from submission. After that, feel free to apply again.


Should I submit an application for each individual job in which I’m interested?

You have the option to select up to three (3) jobs to your job basket, when you’re applying online. In fact, you can only apply for 3 jobs within a 3-month period through the Start the career application process After 3 months, feel free to apply for other positions.


I keep getting timed out when I access the online application.

Check the clock on your computer. It must be set to the correct date, time and time zone. If your clock is set incorrectly, please correct it before entering the application. Failure to do so will result in time out issues during the online application process.


How will I know if BankAtlantic received my application?

When you apply online, you receive an instant notification letting you know that we have received your application. Additionally, if you submit your email address, you will receive notification by email.


Can I still apply even though a suitable position is not available?

Unfortunately, we can only accept applications for specific available positions. However, as mentioned previously, we update our website daily so feel free to come back and search for more suitable openings at any time.


Applicants for Tellers, PBRs and Call Center Representatives

After you’ve completed the online application, you will be directed to our online assessment. Successful candidates will be notified of upcoming open interview sessions for a face to face interview with a Bank representative.


What if I fail the assessment?

You can re-apply with BankAtlantic after 6 months; at which time you will be able to take the assessment again.


I passed the assessment, however I have not been contacted.

No problem! Please call 888-266-2977, then option 6 for a complete list of open interview sessions by county. We conduct open interview sessions every week!
